State Farm is seeking a trial attorney to join the Westchester (Harrison) NY Claim Litigation office.

Selected candidate will be responsible for handling a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial.
The selected candidate will possess outstanding research abilities, written and oral advocacy skills, and will be well organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to independently manage a busy time sensitive caseload.
The position is classified as a hybrid role, meaning that the work arrangement calls for hours in the office and virtually.
Based in Jericho, NY, with our satellite office in Westchester (Harrison), NY, we enjoy an active and busy civil trial practice.
We provide a congenial, team-oriented, and professional work environment with skilled support staff.
Responsibilities:

• Handle a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial.
  
• Develop and implement effective case strategies.
  
• Conduct research and analysis to support case development.
  
• Prepare and present written and oral arguments.
  
• Manage and direct support staff on clerical and administrative matters related to lawsuit handling.
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Law degree from ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials.
    
  • An active license to practice law in New York and be a member in good standing with the state bar.
    
  • 1-10 years of insurance defense litigation/trial experience.
    
  • Experience working in a paperless environment.
    
  • Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation.
    
    Potential salary range: $125,625.00-$160,000.00 (starting salary will be based on background and experience).
    Potential yearly incentive pay up to 16% of base salary (results may vary from year to year).
